Fashion illustrations

What i do in my spear time! I sooth my self with paint and paper. Two illustrations i did, i don't know what for but i don't illustrate just to make a garment, i illustrate because it is an art form.
This gown was inspired by the video of Skrillex's remix of "red lips" by GTA.

This dress was inspired by a mood board i did on feminism.

Whats next! Fashion in jeopardy.

Is it just me or fashion is bursting at the seams.Always known for spectacular fashion shows and a set time of year were the world comes alive with presentations across the globe a grand time of year were designers show the future of apparel . But, sadly, as the years pass by, and times change, so does fashion like the seasons, constantly changing. Changing for the worst. With pieces being repetitive it would seem like there is non originality in fashion anymore. Its all about the money, forgetting that fashion is not just about the glitz and the glamour or the money that comes with,  over time it has become a sacred art. With globalization, greed and the lust for fame this moral has been diminished and leaving younger generation in the a path of nothing but over hyped, non inspirational designers yes! i said 80% of designers current are over hyped because there work is non inspirational and sometimes downright an insult to fashion. Coping pieces, having other people think for you, there is no substance nothing bold! GOD BLESS MCQUEEN! for gone were the days a runway show impacted you emotionally. All in all fashion is ayes a multi billion dollar industry and forever will be a dominant industry but will loose what its truly known for continuing on this path.

Keeping current.

Looped belt to ripped apparel, the future is rather a promising one in the realm of fashion. Not the typical boy to do things conventional my self, i like living on the edge (were fashion is concerned) this is why i love Rihanna and lady gaga, never afraid to push the envelope and say f*@# the world. Here are some trending styles that will guarantee you an chic, on trend look all the time no matter how limited your wardrobe is or the season your in. Don't be afraid to dabel around in your closet pair colors, experiment with elements and principles of design.

CUFFED PANTS.
Cuffed pants. Known for keeping the end of the pants to get on the ground, This look has been redefined. Giving you an easy, simple laid back look while keeping it fashionable and stylish.

 LOOPED BELT.
Looped belt. other wise from controlling the length of the belt this simple gesture adds definition and a great sense of style to your look.

HALF TUCKED SHIRT.
Half tucked shirt. Risky one the half tucked shirt, but, worn just right your guaranteed to stand out from the rest for all the good reasons. and to add an even more asymmetric look roll up one sleeve.

RIPPED JEANS.
Ripped jeans/ distressed denim
Distressed denim for me will forever be. can never go wrong with a punk, fashion forward look with this one.

Rihanna navy. (vogue chameleon)

Robyn Renty. Aside from dominating billboard charts across the bored, this 28 year old Barbadian is a a true fashion icon. Red carpet after red carpet she stuns the world, whether she is showing off the girls exposing everything or slaying in a Chinese gown. Yes Rihanna always knows how to deliver not only on stage but also in fashion. This minute a Chinese princess the next a rebel, i cant with Rihanna. One would call her a "Fashion chameleon".
Some of my all time favorite red carpet moments from the Barbadian princess. This also just goes goes to show arguably Rihanna is capable of rocking anything and makes it golden. SHE GOT DAT  VOGUE MIDAS TOUCH!!

"Northskull" review

Breath in.....Breath out........ Namaste. One of the hardest task in the world is wanting to be a successful blogger and be a college student simultaneously. It is very hard to keep updating on whats what and whats not! So i was on Instagram (Ash grey) and i was basically shopping for bracelets, makes no sense but a lot of goodies especially jewelry are being promoted on there. So scrolling thru, this sleek, simple yet classy and makes a statement bracelet caught my attention.
It is everything i love and adore in fashion. Black with a touch of gold and overall simple yet classy look and most of makes a statement as i mentioned before. After seeing this lovely (north black onyx ) bracelet i had to go take a look on the website, and boy was i impressed.
Northskull  is a store founded by Jordan Forbes and Davron Christian, based in London that sells sleek, clean cut, statement luxury jewelry, popularly known for there skull bracelets. However they also sells rings, necklaces, cuff lings. all in all North Skull would be like a all men's Pandora.

ASH GREY

Ash Grey
Today was very, very inspirational.
I was on the road walking and i stopped by this little store on a mall and this necklace with a vigro en crested in the pendant and it caught my eyes, so as this necklace with a Rastafarian pendant and i also got a bracelet with a Egyptian sarcophagus and looking at them all i saw three different cultures and cultures play major role in my inspirational journey. Also music and photography and so in this one photo embodies all that  is responsible for the birth of "ASH GREY" and from Ash Grey intend to connect with the world thru fashion.

Copper wire.

Ash Grey

Jewelry has always played a mandatory role in ones outfit. But ill be focusing on a more vintage, classy type jewel. Copper jewelry!... timeless with grace and sophistication copper jewelry, whether bracelet, earrings, rings or necklace has always been the focal point of an outfit, adding a vintage feel to your look. In most cases it is embellished with gorgeous stones...rubies, sapphire, opal, and the list goes on and on. all in all, it is a good investment to have a really good copper piece in your wardrobe.

Take a leap.

So before bed, i was inspired to talk about something that you might have seen me rant on and on about but its a very serious matter. finding inspiration in today's modern world were we tend to be introverts more than going out, get lost, discovering new things. you might never know, and no you don't have to be rich and travel the world! step out side breath in and out open your eyes admire nature, architecture, the way people move and talk. inspiration is all around us whether its in the way the sun rose this morning or how the waves of the beach push and pulls against the sand. find the fire in you it might not be fashion related! hey! it could even be sports. don't sit around winning on how life is treating you. like the old saying goes,... life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. have a good one.
and remember to comment your views and what ever you are passionate about. and o! please subscribe!
I was always fascinated by the design and shapes of my apartment
this is an inspiration to me.

Torn (style feature)

Reading my blog you may realize that black is my happy color. My style overall, is modern with an edgy, rebellious touch. For this post i decided to do a style feature were i show off a street wear or my version of street wear. I was actually going to class and felt very stylish *hehe.
so to break down, i worn a torn tank top with a black shirt with mini spikes and lather on the cuffs, collar and opening, i opted with a black jean pant, ripped at the knees, a trend that is in right now you can never go wrong with a ripped knee pant. I decided to go with a black loafer and to give the outfit a more edgy punk look i popped the collar and choose a silver necklace with a black cord choker and to give it that modern feel, i threw in a round golden yellow mirror shades.
Remember, let  your style reflect who you are.
Please feel free to comment on how you think this outfit could have been better.

Christian Louboutin! ( sporty dude)

I never knew a man could feel this way about high top shoes. Rises just below the knee, with signature silver mini spikes accented around the front and sides with multi material, lather strap, and    zip- back. This makes Christian Louboutin's "Sporty Dude" sneakers one for the summer!
Christian louboutin has honestly outdone them selves on this one. my heart literally melted to the ground and first sight! i guess, now i know what love at first sight feels like.
